SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present indications are for increasing haze and cloudiness generally, but especially in the northern and southernmost districts. Moderate to strong westerly winds will probably give way to increasing northorlies and a falling barometer everywhere, after about sixteen hours. Itain ha 3 fallen on the West Coast and Gouthoramost districts of tho South Island and a westerly galo prevailed in Fovcaux Strait during Monday night. Squally and divergent winds were reported this morning in various parts, but moderate to strong westerlies have prevailed with fair and warm weather generally.
