Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. repo.-t having held their weekly stock sale at Waipukurau yesterday, when they offered 130 cattie and a. small yarding of sheep to ■'. large attendance ot tie public. Fat cattle were not up to late rates, but store cattle, especially three and four-year bullocks, old we!!. Pat heifers, .£5 to .£5 IBs • tat bullocks, £8 10s.- to £9 17s. 6d.; yearling steers, £2 ss. to £2 153.; eighteenlaonths lieifcrn, £2 15°:.; tiore thrce-yesr bullocks, up to £7 145.; fat ewes, 13s. Gd. to 13s. 9d.; cull hoggets. 95.; medium imxcd-sex hoggets, 133. IM.; aged ewes, with lambs at foot. lCs. Cd. to 13s. 6d. Messrs. Datgety and Co.. Ltd., report having hold a, very successful sole of dairy stock and sundries on account of llr. it. tt'hitehoad, Taita, who lias cold his farm. The cows, which were all in very Rood condition, were of rather mixed duality, and realised from £3 to £12 17s. 6d., the average of the herd being £1 per head. A largo assortment of fa.rm implement?, furniture, an-d sundries was also offered, and was cleared at satisfactory prices.
