Cody, tho aviator, in a monoplane of his own invention, ilow 255 miles at Aldershot for tho Michelin Track Cup and a prize of .CSOO. Tho distance was covered at au averago height of 1200 feet, and at a rate of 51 miles au hour. Tho last hour was a continuous struggle in which the aviator endeavoured to maintain his balanco against a gusty wind. Oil alighting ho was carried shoulder high to tho garage.
