IDLE COLLIERIES. Dy Teleeraph-'Prcas Association—Copyright Sydney, October 28. A meeting of Newcastle colliery proprietors declined tho Miners' Federation demaud for ail unconditional conference on all the matters ill dispute in the district, insisting that all the collieries must resume work under the conditions existing prior to tho stoppage of work, and that all disputes should be referred to a Wages Board before a conference would bo granted.
