NEW DISSOLUTION SUIT. Dy Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright Washington, October 27. The Federal Government has planned a suit I'o break tlio Steel Trust. The hearing of a preliminary petition has begun in the Trenton, Now Jersey, Circuit Court. The Government demands tho dissolution of all subsidiary companies as well as all constituent companies. Thirty-six subsidiary companies aro named as defendants. The petition declares that Messrs. Gary and Fricfc, directors of the Steel Trust, misled Mr. Roosevelt regarding the purchase of tho Tennesseo Coal and Iron Company. PANIC IN THE MARKET. (Iteo. October 29, 5.5 p.m.) New York, October 28. United States Steel Corporation shares fell eight points, causing a panic in the stock market, in the early moment of irhich trading reached enormous proportions. Other issues were seriously affected. The demoralisation was solely duo to the announcement of the Government's anti-trust suit.
