An infuriated female litigant at Seattle iraylaid and horse-whipped Judge Mair, of tho Washington Stato Court, seriously in. juring him. The sheriif overpowered tho woman and conveyed her to gaol. The loss of a lawsuit is believed to bo tlio motivo for the attack.
