SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.

On Sunday and Wednesday last the children of the Kilbirnie Methodist Sunday School celebrated their 15th anniversary. The services on Sunday morning; were conducted by the Rev. E. 0. Blaniires at 11 a.m., by tho Rev. J. Ward at 3 p.m., and by tho Rev. 1\ Rand in the evening at 7. There were large congregations, the church in' tho evening being decorated. Tho singing of the scholars under their capable conductor (Mr. F. H. Ritchie) assisted by an excellent orchestra, was much appreciated. On Wednesday evenin;? the annual "social" was held, when a first-class programme of music, recitation, and speech was presented. An encouraging annual report was read, tho prizes to the scholars presented, and a dainty supper dispensed. During tho evening u presentation, consisting of a gold bangle, suitably inscribed, was raado to Miss icar in recognition of many years of valuable service as organist to" tho Church and Sunday School brought lo a close one of the most successful anniversaries held in connection with tho school.
