YESTERDAY'S SITTING.

The Honso met again at 11 a.m. Tho Hon. T. MACKENZIE moved the first reading of the Taieri Land Drainage Bill. Protests were made by Mr. Parata and Mr. Scott against the Bill being dealt with so late in the session, but the first reading was carried. ■ Tho amendments mado by the Legislative Council in the Public Servico Classification and Superannuation Amendment Bill were agreed to. The Supplementary Estimates were introduced at 11.15, and the Honso thereupon went into Committee of Supply on thein, but as printed, copies wero not ready for members, progress was immediately reported. .

The Mokau debate was then taken, and the report will be found in another part of this issue.
