Dr. Delbrneck, Minister for tho Interior, said the importation of Argentine cattle would not be permitted, owing to the danger of Texan fever. Frozen meat, he added, had gained a certain footing in Britain, but the people were endeavouring to avoid it. Britain, during the Boer War, had suffered badly owing to the inferiority of tho tinned meats used by her troops.
