SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for rain in all parts of the country. The barometer will probably fall for a short time, but a rise is duo in lh« south within from twenty-four to thirty-six hours, whoa the winds will change to tha southward and increa-so, with colder weather. Strong northerly and westerly winds are probable in the meantime, though a temporary lull in parts is due to tvro low-pressure areas somewhat neutralising each other. Northerly and westerly winds, Btrong to gale have prevailed, with, eioomy and wet weather generally. The barometer lias fallen everywhere. D. 0. BATES.
