Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having hold their weekly etcok sale at Waipukurau yesterday, when they offered 3CCO sheep, principally hoggets, to a small attendance- of buyers. Prices were about, the fame as at previous sales. Fat ewes, 155.; cull hoggets, in wool, Bs. Gd.; medium hoggets, in wool, 10s. Sd., 10s. 9d., to 125?.; fair 2-tooth wethers, 15s. 5d.; good hoggets, iu wool, 14s. sd. Slessrs. At Addington there were fairly large entries of stock and a good attendance. Fat ealtlc showed no change in price. Store iiheop, extent aged eves with lambs, vera in better demand, and fat Jauibs, owing to a large entry, dropped fc. to 4s. per head. 7'ig* were rather easier. Tho fat sheep market was fairly lirro, and there wiva a rather better demand for store CftttlO. The offerings of store sheep were rather larger than last week, ami ronsiriod of hoggets, a fair proportion of cv.cs an<l lambs, and shorn wethert, the latter being principally ovortoa sheep. There was a good demand, especially for young dicep, and the market for these was rather firmer. ftwc hosssis sold at advanced rater-, whilst other sorts were firm. Young ewes abo Id well, but. aged ewes with lambi were not so readily rateable, ar/J several lots were parsed. Shorn wethers met with a good demand. Best heavy lambs made 14s. 9d. to 165.; and others, lis. to 14s. &d.
