NINE MEN KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Vancouver, October 23. Through the explosion of a keg of powder in a mine in llarrisburg, in Pennsylvania, nine men wero killed and ton wounded. Tho explosion also caused the coal mino to cavo in. Tho fact that the men wero changing shifts when the explosion occurred saved many lives. After-damp accounted for several of tho deaths. Fifteen men are imprisoned deep down in the workings.
