REPLIES TO LORD DUDLEY. Br Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, October 21. The Governor-Gcnorn-l, Lord Denman, in addressing tho Graduates? Association, incidentally referred to Lord Dudley's Tccent statement in England regarding payment of members. Though tho system had beon in operation for several years, said Lord Denman, tliero had been no reflection of any Wild upon the honour and integrity of Australian members of Parliament. Mr. I'isber, tho Prime Minister, declares that ho was astonished at Lord Dudley's reference. However, tho best answer is that Australia is politically clean.
