AMBULANCE SATURDAY.
POSTPONED FOR A MONTH. Tlio principal topic of discussion at (.ho meeting of the committee of the Wellington Centre of the St. John Ambulanoo Association yesterday was tlio dato of the annual "Ambulance Saturday" collecting campaign. There wero IS raenw bers present at the meeting, which wns presided over by Mr. C. I'. l'owlcs, chairman of the centre. ]t was pointed out that the recent appeal by the Hospital Board liad met with such a hearty response that it would not be wise to adhere to the original date fixed for lilic "Ambulance Saturday" campaign, as tlio interval between the two appeals would bo too sliort. It was therefore decided to postpone the date of the Ambulance Association's appeal to public charity till December 2 next.
