9 By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht (Kec. October 23, 0.20 p.m.) Sydney, October 23. A heat wave has been experienced during tho past tlirco days in many country towns, tho temperature rising to over 100 deg. Fahr., and the highest reaching 107 deg. In tho city 88 dog., the highest temperature this season so far, has been recorded. Tho heat wave is causing serious anxiety to the wheatgrowers.
