TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.) Monday. Irish Stew. Spinach. Potatoes, Sweet Omelet. BAKED DATE PUDDING. Two ounces breadcrumbs, 3 gills milk, •iaz. dates (stoned and cut up), 2 eggs (yolks and whites separated), 1 applo (pealed, cored and sliced), 2oz. castor j sugar, glace cherries, I lemon rind (grated), angelica. Mix tho breadcrumbs, grated lemon rind, loz. caster sugar, and the stoned dates cut in small pieces. Grease a pie-dish with butter and put a layer of the crumbs, etc., in the bottom of the dish. Cover with sliced apple and then morn crumbs, etc. Beat up tha yolks of eggs, add the milk and pour gently into tho pie-dish. Bako in a moderate oven for an hour. Whisk the whites of eggs to a sLiif froth, stir in the remainder of tho sugar and heap tho meringue on ton of the pudding. Dust with j castor sugar, decorate with glace cherries nnd angelica, mid put in a cool oven to set the meringue. Serve hot. FOR TO-MORROW. Loin of Pork. Sage. Onions. Apples. , Cabbage. Marmalade.
