Given fine weather the vessel, which has 260 passengers on board, should make port early on AVednesdav morning. Owing to the strike on the other side the Ulimaroa is bringing very little cargo for New Zealand ports. TYSER LINE. Messrs. Bannatyne and Co., local agents for the Tyscr Line, notify that the steamer Marcre did not sail from Loudon for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand ports on September 28, as previously announced, but left on Octobcr 1. The vessel should arrive here on December 3. According to advices received, the Star of Canada did not leave London on September 23, for Australian and New Zealand ports. The vessel was expected to get away ou Wednesday last, and should arrive here about December 20. The Kia Or a was docked at Port Chalmers on Thursday last, to have her propellers righted. The steamer lvirita-na is to leave Napier to-day for Wellington direct, and is expectcd to arrive here on Wednesday. Upon arrival she its to load oil for Napier, ex the Lord Lonsdale. The vessel will probably leave on Wednesday on the return journey. Mr. W. Young has signed on tho Lauderdale as chief engineer. Mr. J. D. Seed signed off the Arahura as chief engineer at Wellington on Saturday. The second engineer has been promoted to chief, and the third to second. Mr. W. J. Whyte signed on as third engineer. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company advifc that their steamer Wakanui arrived at Plymouth on Octobcr 18 from Adelaide. The Rosamond, which arrived yesterday from Onehunga, is to leave to-morrow on the return trip. On Saturday the Union. Company's collier Karori got away for Westport from Wellington to load cool for the Admiralty at Melbourne. On Saturday morning the Flora put in the stream to load explosives.
