The report of tho Watchman mine manager for the last week is 33 follows:— City of Dunedin Keef.—This face has bcon advanced an additional 18 feet, making a total of U8 feet from the turn off. The reef continues to maintain its promising appearance. I am taking the drive in the centre of the reef with neither wall in view. Sunbem Low Level.—This face has been advancer. 15 feet, with three shifts. I am at present penetrating a face of all quartz, which is bad to bore and blast, and has made progress slow for the past week. Gold continues to be seen in tho hanging wall portion when broken, which is being saved for treatment. There is approximately 36 feet to connect these two levels. Windfall Koef.—One shift has been engaged driving this face on the footwall. which is composed principally of white sandstone, with ribs of quartz running through it
