NOTICE is hereby given .that a Meeting of the Karori Borough Council will bo held at the Council Chambers on TUESDAY, tho 24th day of OCTOBER, 1911, at S o'clock p.m., when the following resolution, which was passed at a Special Meeting of tho Council held on tho 2Gth day of September, 1911, will bo submitted for confirmation as a Special Order:— WHEREAS by poll taken on tho 2Stli day of July, One thousand nine hundred and nine, authority was given to this Council to raise a loan of Twenty-seven thousand five hundred pounds (,£27,500) for the tramway construction and the purchase and erection of Stone Crushing Machinery and appurtenances; AND WHERE. AS in exercise of such power the Council raised tho sum cf twenty-six thousand pounds (.£2G,000); AND WHEREAS the moneys required for the completion of the said works' for which tho said Loan was raised amounts to the sum of i!2S,GSG 3s. (2) A concrete wall and suitable gates on the boundary between the Main Roari and the Recreation Ground at an osvinialod cost of tito hundred pounds (.L'2oo).
