INJURED BY A FALL OF EARTH.

Auckland, October 18. William Coppell, ft labourer, aged 45 years, who was injured by a fall of earth at a brickyard at Avondalo on October 5, succumbed this afternoon in the Auckland Hospital. Deceased was a widower and leaves four young children. SLIP ON FOOTPATH. A little girl named Mary Roberts was admitted to the Hospital last night suffering from a fractured leg and an injured shoulder, caused through slipping on a footpath.
