THE TUBEKCTJZOSIS CAMPAIGN.
The monthly meeting of tho Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held yesterday, there being present: Rev. W. A. Lvajis (chairman), and Jlcrers. H. Baldwin, J. E. Fitzgerald, W. Gallowav, 13. K. Gardener, J. Godbor, A. H. Hindniiirsh, K, C. Kirk, G. T. London, J. W. M'iiwon, F. T. Moore, D. liobertson, J bnuth, W. Tompsitt, J. Trevor, K. l'leteher, and licv. H. Van Stavemi It was agreed that tho local oodies concerned should be notified of all cases of infectious diseases aud disinfections roinorted. Tho board resolved heartily to endorse nnd extend its co-operation in regard thereto, tho following resolution from tho Otaro Hospital Board:— "That (lie attention of tho Government IX) drawn to the urgent necessity of au amount being placni'. upon tho Estimates o cope with the abdication of consumption, and that thr undermentioned rn-o-iiaon, which was unanimously passed bv the Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards at tho conference recently held in Wellington, be immediately given effect to ym.: rhot in the opinion of this conference it is imperative that tho Government pkco such sum upon the Estimates, the Hospital Bowls of the Dominion to endeavour to effectively stamp out thS spread of tnlwrculosis, and thai this re!
