THE DUKE OF CONNAUGHT.
SPEECH AT OTTAWA. By Telegraph-Press Assodatlon-Conyrteht ' Ottawa, Octobor 15. The Duke of Connaught, the GovernorGeneral, speaking at a reception at Parliament Buildings, alluded to the remarkable prosperity of tho Dominion, and paid a tribute to Earl Grey, the late Governor-General, for his work in making Canada better known in the Old Country. His Royal Highness said he realised the great difficulty of following in office one who had done so much for Canada as Earl Grey.
