STRATFORD A. & P. SOCIETY.
ANNUAL SHOW. The marked progress which has been made by the Stratford. A. and P. Society —now only a little more than a year old —is evidenced in a striking manner in tho general up-to-dateness and information contained in the prize-list schedule which is now being distributed in connection with the annual show on November 29 and 30. Tli'o society publishes a list of 820 members—a splendid beginning which speaks well for the enterprise of the officials and the loyalty of residents of the district. All classes of stock are well catered for in tho schedule, and the competitions will be distinct features. Tho special donatio is cov.t «inic .£3OO. chief of these -being ten-guinea prizes by tho Jersey Breeders' Association and by Messrs. Newton King, J. B. Hine, M.P., and F. Gootdi, eight guineas by Messrs. C. O. E. Jackson, while five-guinea prizes aro donatel by the Nga-jre Co-operative Dairy Company, Wilson and Co., Singei Sewing Machine Company, and by. Messrs. J. M'CluggiVje, Masters and Son, and J. Petrie. Entries will close with tho secrotary, Mr. E. Jackson, on Thursday, November 23. '
