FEATHERSTON ITEMS.
< Thero was a largo following at the funeral of the Into Mr. J. S. Ciiihl.v 011 Wednesday. The pall-bcnrers were: Messrs. S. Cuudy, Jos. Tocker, K. Hodder, C. Donald, A. Donald, and A, Benton. The Masonic burial service was read by Bro. 1\ C. Everton, W.M. At the last Town Board meeting, it was decided to suggest to (ho noxious weeds' inspector that more than formal notico was required to induce occupiers of laud in the. township to clear the weeds growing by their sections. Notico was given by Mr. J. W, Card to move: "That provision be made in next year's Estimates of expenditure for a contribution to be made towards the cost of the proposed new bridgo on (ho Rimutaka lioad."
