IMPORTED STOCK.

A YEAR'S FIGURES. A total of 375 animals were imported into'the Dominion during the past year, says the Minister for .-Agriculture in his annual report. These were made up as. under;—l37 head of cattle, 118 sheep, 40 pigs, 03 dogs, and 15 deer. In the preceding year .115 head were imported, -of which 49 were dogs, and 10 head of deer. Tho most striking difference is in-cattle. odl,v nino'head (all bulls) being imported during 1909-10. By far the greater .proportion of stock introduced during the oast year .wcro dairy cattle.
