(Bj Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, OcloW 12. The deck fillinps ol' tlio C.'ii.rlu, which was berthed at the Town Wharl at an early hour this morning, were considerably knocked about, and I lie after-deck-house practically wrecked. Thero has evidently been some straining of the hull, as the vessel continues to make water, though the pumps arc keeping it down. A full examination of the vessel's ljottom cannot be undertaken till the coal cargo has been discharged. This work is being proceeded with.
