HOSPITAL AND C.A. MATTERS
The monthly meeting of the Hospital Comnuttco of the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held yesterday afternoon. Present: 11-essrs ']? !>• 5, irk ( chl >ir«ian), G. Nash, ,T. Godberi G. a. London, J. W. M'Kwau, and W. lompsitt. Tho following recommendations of the House and Finance Committee were adopted ;-(I) That a woman suprrvisor be appointed at a salary ■of ,£IOO per annum, to supervise the laundry, take chargo of the linen-room, and supervise the domestic work. (2) That u letter of appreciation bo sent to tho-Working Men s Club, Petone, for tho donation of -tO 25., this. being the amount received from collection-boxes. (3) That the secretary of tho Wellington Gas Company's ■Orchostra be informed that the cost'to endow .a'ehild's cot is .£250. (4) That the House and Finance Committee be empowered to appoint six change nurses and one sister.
