MISSIONS TO SEAMEN

The Missions to Seamen Institute was well filled last evening, when the Misses Morrah. and Kreoft provided an enjoyable concert. Mr. F. S. Shell, the Missioner, occupied the chair. The following contributed elocutionary and vocal items: Misses Van Staveren, Ivembor, Oram, Cook, Read, and R. Van Staveren, and Messrs. Knox and Tinney. Misses Cook played the accompaniments. An amusing conundrum competition was won by sailors from ships in port. A hearty vote of thanks was given the performers, and light refreshments wero dispensed.
