Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their 3Jasterton stock sale, hold yesterday, as follows:—Tho yarding of both sheep and cattle was a small one ns compared with la?t week, our offering comprising ten. pens of fke;p and four email pens of cattle. The demand for sheep was not erjual to that of the previous week, nor was the (juality, with one or two exception?. Tho bulk of our entry,'however, ohauged hands at vendors' anticipations, llogtjets, 13s. to 14s. Brf. for good sorts, and down to 9s. for culls; fat ewes, 205.; yearling steers. £3: springing heifers, backward and small, £2 12=. 6d. A quantity of harness offered made fairly satisfactory prices, but not so good as previously.

The ent-ry of /fat larubs totalled only 685. ,as compared with 103 last week. The lambs were well grown, and of good quality. and there was a keen demand, prices showing a considerable improvement. Best lamb? made 17?. Id. to 225., nud smalier, 14s. 9d. to lfc. 9d.

The yarding of fat sheep was somewhat larger than last week, and was again chietlv made un of large lines of jrocd crossbred wethers from Southland.
