, Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly salo at Waipnkurau on October 10, when they ofTered a fair -yarding of sheep to a large attendance of tne public. Hoggets were m good demand, and every line changed hands. Pat ewes, 15s. 3d.; owes with lambs, 17s. 3d.; cull hoggets, Bs.; medium hoggets, lis. to 12s. 6d.; ewe hoggctf, 135.; best hoggets. 155.; five and six-tooth wethers, 165.; small twotooth ewes, 10s.; forward ewes, Us. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report :-On Monday we held a clearing sale of dairy stock for Mr. W. J. Beading, .Levin. There was a. larije attendance, aha, considering the condition of the cows, which was low. a good salo resulted — Dairy cows sold from £5 to £11 123. 6d.; Jersey bull, £10 2s. 6d.; wcaner steers. £2 4s. 6d. -
