DOMINION COMPETITIONS.

The committee of the New Zealand Competitions' Society met at the office of the seorotaxy (Air. Jas. Dykes) at 5 p.m. yesterday, Dr. Izard presiding. The secretary reported that the timetable was now in tha hands of the printer, and would bo available on Tuesday, nest., It-was decided that a booking fee be abolished, but that season ticket-holders, ifho had reserved seats, must occupy them 'before the commencement of the performance,- otherwise they would not bo available. It was stated that over 1850 entries had been received, these coining from all parts of New.Zealand. It lias been decided to engage tie Town Hall' from October 25 till November 10, thus .extending tho period of the competitions by four days. This was found to be necessary owing to the number of entries. ' Both halls will bo occupied if necessary, and the competition- , ! will.commence at 9 o'clock each morning.
