NOTICE is hereby given that ft Meeting of the Ivarori Borough Council will be held at the Council Chambers on TUESDAY, the 2-ith day of OCTOBER, 1911, at 8 o'clock p.m., when tho following resolution, which w.-.s passed at a Special Meeting of tho Council held on the 26th day of September, 1911, will bo submitted for confirmation as a Special Order;— : WHEREAS by poll taken, on tho 28th day of; July, One thousand nine hundred and nine, authority was given to this Council to raise a loan of Twenty-seven thousand five hundred pounds" (127,500) for the tramway construction and the purchase and erection of Stone Crnshinsr Machinery and appurtenances; AND WHERE. AS in exercise of such, power the Council raised .the sum of' twenty-six thousand pounds (,£26,000); AND WHEREAS tho moneys required for the completion of tho said works for which the said Loon was raised amounts to the sum of .£25,G56 3s. NOW THE COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES, by. way of Special Order in exercise of the power vested in the Council by Section 105 of the Municipal Corporation Act, 1908, and of every and any other power enabling the Council in that behalf, that tho said surplus of JESSS 12s. 4d. shall be expended in the carrying out and completion of tho following works, namely— ■■■■■• (1) A Pavilion and Tea Room with all necessary adjuncts on tho Recreation Ground at an estimated cost of Two hundred- aod twenty-five pounds (X 225). (2) A coucrcto wall and suitablo gates on the boundary between tho Main Road and the Recreation Ground at an estimated cost of tv;o hundred pounds (,£200). (3) A retaining wall on tho north side of tho cutting on tho Main Road known as Church Cutting at an estimated cost of thirty pounds (.£3O).
