MOEB ABOUT THE LEVY. A special general meeting of the Wellington South District Cricket Club was held last night to consider the advisability of reducing the entrance fees, which were considered by members as too high. Mr. Sclimoll moved, and Jlr. Lewis seconded, that Eule 11 should bo deleted, and that its place should lie taken by a rule providing that senior members' subscriptions should be 225. 6d., junior 17s. 6d., third grade, over 18 years, 12s. fid., under 18 years 7s.' 6d., and that a ground fee- should bo collected every Saturday. This motion was carried. The meeting discussed (he levy proposal, and, for the benefit of ,its delegate to the association, agreed upon the following as the club's attitude, on the question;—" That this club cannot see its way to support tht> motion to make a levy on members of clubs, but will bo only too pleased to support any effort on tho part of tho association to make a general movement to reduce the overdraft, with special reference to tho creation of a finance committee to go fully into tho financial position of the association."
