Mix the pepper, salt, suga.r, sauce, and vinegar, scorc in© st€a.lc t lctivo 111 the mixture throe or four hours, turning it every now and again. Grill or fry, using mixture for gravy. FOR TO-MORROW. One and a half pounds steak, apple, curry powder, 1 lemon, treacle, ground ginger, breadcrumbs.
