QUESTION 01'' CANCELLING REGISTRATION. (By Telceraph.—Press Association.) , Auckland, October 2. It is stated unofficially that tho Auckland Seamen's Union has decided to apply for tho cancellation of its registration under the Aibitration Act. There were, it is stated, from 1G to 20 members prosent at tho meeting at which thn decision was arrived at, out of tho total of from five to six hundred financial members which comprises tho union. The Auckland Union's agreement with tho shipowners expired twelve months ago last iLarch, and apparently no fresh terms of agreement havo been submitted. Tho .secretary of tho Auckland Union (Mr. kneen) says ho is not in a position to discuss tho matter at present.
