In conclusion, ho stated that Mr. llislop would leave with the. best wishes of every member of tho institute. Mr. Hislop, in replying, stilted t'hat all that he had done for the institute had been done as a labour of love. Tho membership had risen from 50, when he took it over, lo 812, which was (he number at tho present time. He next referred to the legislation which had been passed, and which had l>een instrumental in raising the status of (he profession. In conclusion he asked for every assistance for his successor, Mr.. Wallace, of the Koromilco. Cheers were then given for Mr. and Mrs. Hislop.
