DISASTROUS GALE.

A gale with a velocity of sixty miles an, hour is raging in the North Sea. Many wrecks havo occurred with loss of life amongst the fishing smacks, particularly at Lowestoft. (Rec, October 2, 10.15 p.m.) Paris, October 2. Tho Ilnmburg-American liner Konig Friedrich Auguste, 9C12 tons gross, dragged her anchor and grounded in Boulogne Harbour. At Flushing a pilot boat was wrecked and four persons drowned. The Ellernuin Lino steamer City of Benares, 6973 tons, is ashore, at West Capelle, Holland. Ton persons havo been drowned. A number of largo steamers are ashore in tho River Scheldt.
