Clayton, whoso death took plaeo suddenly in Sydney last week, had been a resident of New Zealand for 52 years, having como out originally from Yorkshire. Ho was n. very familiar figure in Auckland, where he had spout nearly all his years in New Zealand, and had taken several trips to tho Old Country.
