WOOL FREIGHTS.
HIGHER BATES IN AUSTRALIA. By Telecraph—Vvess Association—Copyright Sydney, September 29. The overseas shipping companies have decided to increase the freights on gTcasy wool next-week from five-eighths to elevensixteenths of a penny per lb., and of scoured from three-farthings to thirtcensirteenths of a penny. Freights on tallow and hides will bo increased half-a-crown per ton. The advances are duo to tlio recent increases in waterside workers' wages and othor charges.
