September 29, 10.45 p.m.) Constantinople, September 29. The Italian ultimatum bos produced coTLstcirnation in official circles, where it is commented upon most strongly. The neutrality of the Powers has keenly disappointed tho Turks. It is reported that tho Porto has decided to reject tho demands conveyed in tho ultimatum, and to address au explanatory communication to the Powers. Seventy deputies met and resolved to invito tho Government to convene tho Chamber at the earliest moment, and not later in any case than October 11. The tone of tho meeting was very hostilo to the Cabinet It is stated semiofficially that the ultimatum demands tho evacuation of Tripoli and Cyrenaica within twenty-four hours. Mukhtar Pasha (Vice-President of the ■Senate), Said Pasha (Presidentof tho Solvate), and Ahmed Riza Boy (President of tho Chamber of Deputies) attended tho extraordinary Council meeting to consider the ultimatum.
