Admiral Belluo emphasises tho fact that nineteen minutes elapsed between tho two first explosions, proceeding any fire, and tho final catastrophe, the same interval as in the case of tho Jena. The first subscription on tho Paris Bourse in aid of the victims' families amounted to .SIOOO sterling. Tho French Press Association has opened a National Relief Fund. Mdllo. Ttcjane, tlio famous actress, is organising a benefit at tho Hippodrome for the sufferers by tho loss of tho battleship Libcrte. Several persons are paying twenty-eight guineas for a,box. FUND OPENED IN SYDNEY. Sydney, September 29. The local French newspaper has started a fund to relieve the relatives of tho victims by the explosion on the warship Liberte. DESTROYERS COLLIDE. Paris, September 28. The French destroyers Mosqueton (300 tons) and Trident (335 tons) came into collision while manoeuvring at Toulon. Tho Mosqueton was wrecked, and was beached to prevent her from sinking.
