A great" battle has taken place at Nauwhere Salar-ed-Dowleh, uncle of the Shall, who is aiding the rebellion, lost 400 killed and 200 prisoners. Seven guns were also captured. Salar-ed-Dowleh is retreating to Hamadan, and the Government troops are in pursuit. It is reported that the' ex-Shah is near Astrabad' with 400 Persian and Russian Turcomans. He is said to have seized and killed a Turcoman Deputy to the Mejliss.
