Mr. W. G. Glad-s-tono was born in 1885, aud is a son of the lato Mr. W. W. 11. Gladstone, and a grandson of Mr. William Ewart Gladstone. Sir John Rces wns formerlv well known on tho Liberal side of tho'House' as an authority on Indian affairs, but 110 crossed I lie floor and changed his party shortly before tho last elections.
