T "9 'Werlncsday section of the Brooklyn Harriers brought their season to a yesterday, at Lyall Bay. A small sports meeting was the order of the day, the following events being run off:— ' 100 Yards Handicap.—C. Brown (scr.), 1; G. Scott (Iyd.), 2; R. Hough (-(yds.), 3. Off a flying start Brown led all the way and won by a. foot. •HO Yards' Handicap.—C. Brown (scr.l, 1; R. Hough (15yds.), 2; G. Scott Cser.), .1. Broad Jump Handicap.—G. Scott (Gin.), 1; R. Rough (Oin.), 2: C. Brown (3in.>, 3. Tomls were allotted for each race—six for first, three for fecond, one for third— C. Brown winning with 13 points. G. Scott was second (9 point?), and H. Rough third (7 points). A 50 yards officials' race resulted as follows:-]?. Gracie (Hyds.), 1; C. 11. Buck (lyds.l, 2; R. U. Agr.ew (scr.), 3. J-he members afterwards sat down to tea as tho guests of Mr. E. Vango.
