FEILDING NOTES.

A general meeting of the Feilding and District Sunday School Workers' Association has decided to invite Mr. Newton Jones, the well-known English worker to pay a visit at the end of October and the beginning of November. The election of officers for tho Feilding Bowling Club resulted as follows:—President, Mr. D. H. Guthrie, M.P.; vicepresident, Mr. J. G. Cobbe; committer Messrs. Foote, Barry, Lochlier.d, Stewart' Bartholomew, Haybittlc, Brown, Burne' and Worsfold; treasurer, Mr. WorsfeM' auditors, Messrs. Wackrill and Shrimnton; secretary. Mr. T. J. Clapham. On tho motion of' Messrs. Haybittlc and Sovwnll, it was decided to send letters of appreciation to Mr. H. F. Allen, P f Wellington, for tho manner in which lie had looked after the interests of the Fc'ldiug Club on the North Island Bowline .\ssociation for the past fifteen years. speakers mentioned Mr. Allen in very complimentary terms, describing him as "a real live bowler," and one who had the interests of- the' Feilding Club at heart. Tho season opens at the end of next week if conditions are suitable The Beaconsfield Cricket Club has elected the following officers: President Mr D. P. Buchanan; vice-presidents, Mo-W F.
