PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS.
THE AUSTRALIAN PROPOSALS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht Melbourne, Soptcinber 26. Tho Federal Cabinet, at a lengthy sitting, discussed Sir. Dentin's pending censure motion. It is understood tho Labour members will declare straight out for preferenco to unionists, without limitation. A meeting of tho Employers' Federation discussed tho situation. The president declared that proof positivo had been given that the country was now, for all practical purposes, governed by tho Trades Hall and tho Political Labour Councils, not by tho Parliamentary representatives. Tho climax had been reached by tho proclamation of the Government that absolute preference would be given to unionists. A resolution was adopted to tho effect that the federation viewed the action of the Government -witn the gravest conoern. "ABSOLUTELY INDEFENSIBLE." ( .; (Eec.
