Y.M.C.A. BOYS' DEPARTMENT.

The annual meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Boys' Department Cricket Club was held last week. The annual report etated that the junior A team had won the Championship Cup for the second time. Tim balancesheet showed that , the receipts had exactly met the expenditure. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. Hemery; vice-presidents, Messrs. Mathcson, Balcombe Brown, Plant, Walton, Cassey, Forsyth, Faulkner, and Hills; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Goer; junior management committee, Messrs. Sinclair, Jl'Girr, Hicks; junior selection committee, Messrs. Hicks, \. Perry, and Worth; delegates to League, Messrs. Ryan and Mears. The selection of a senior grade Committee was held over. ■It is hoped to enter at least three teams in the Boys' League competition. On Saturday night tho sixth A loam entertained tho Institute sixth A at the rooms. Competitions were indulged in and these were followed by supper. The results of tho competitions were as folY.M.C.A.—Quoits, 62; table tennis. SI; shooting, 119; total, '205. InstituteQuoits, 70; table tennis. SI; shooting, 73; total, 200. Y.M.C.A. thus won by G5 points. _______
