PRISONERS AT THE PLAY.
A NOVEL EXPERIMENT. By Tclcerapta-Preas Ansodalion-Copyriglit . New York, September 23. Fifty convicts from the State prison at Denver, Colorado, including sovoral who are undergoing sentence of imprisonment for life, attended a dramatic performance at the theatre, being escorted by a strong guard. The play dealt with convicts in a life prison having a highly moral outcome. The- prison warden hopes that lessono will be taken to heart.
