Butter a quart, pudding basin and lino the bottom of it with split sponge cakes. lut i:i half of the marmalade, finish lining I he basin with sponge cake and pour in tho remainder of tho marmalade. Boil the milk, beat up the eggs, and pour the boiling niillc over them. Strain this mixture on to tho marmalade and cover with tho rest of tho sponge cake. Twist greased paper over tho top of the basin and steam gently for H hours. Turn out tho pudding and servo with custard sauce. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Six or Seven Pounds of Beef. Carrots. Turnips. Dates. Suet.
