An attempt to burn tho Duko of Grandia's palace has been frustrated. Tho mob, howovor, looted a number o£ municipal safes, but troops are pursuing tho thieves. A -warship, with 500 troops on board, has arrivod at Fcrrol. Tlio authorities have secured details of. a oarefully-planncd Anarchist plot, to which tho strikes wore intended to pavo tho way. Attacks were planned on tho oonvente, barracks, and public buildings. A stock of bottles, filled with explosives, was dis» covered ready prepared. All tho members of tho executive wcro arrested, thus nipping tho. movement in tho bud.
